Abstract
Dear Readers,
I hope you are healthy and fine!
It was a wonderful experience for serving as a ‘Guest Editor’ in Distributed Generation and Alternative Energy Journal (DGAEJ). The Title of the special issue was very interesting and it was “Advancements in Distributed genera- tion and Electric Vehicle technologies” We had circulated Call for Papers (CPF) in all over the world though different platforms. The short summary of the special issue is as follows:
Total Research/Review Papers Received: 25
Accepted Papers: 12
Rejected/Declined Papers: 13
Acceptance Percentage: 48%
In this special issue, we had accepted 12 quality papers. It is refreshing to see that the majority of papers relate to the very dynamic field of power electronics and power systems especially Smart Grid, Renewable Energy and Electric vehicle. The Guest Editors feel accepted papers will be very useful for future researchers and shall be in the interest of the global audience. Experts in the relevant field conducted a thorough review of the research papers. We did not compromise on the quality of the papers, as this is a reputable journal. Most research articles have been rejected due to a lack of experimental results or improper simulation results rationale. The Review papers were rejected due to the absence of a competent literature review and the absence of a paper’s conclusion.
Thank you so much river publishers especially Dr. Rajeev Prasad, Editor in Chief and Dr. Sanjeevikumar Padmanaban, Co-Editor in Chief of the Journal for giving me opportunity to serve as the guest editor in this reputed Scopus indexed Journal. Indeed, the journey was very interesting and fruitful. Thanks a lot to Karen for their time to time dedicated support. Special Thanks goes to all the Guest Editors Dr. Ranjan Kumar Behera, Dr. Ravi Bhushan, Dr. Neeraj Gupta and Dr. Ravi Raushan, who had given their 100 percent to make this special issue successful.
