Author Biography

John J. McGowan, CEM Vice President Energy Controls Incorporated (ECI)

John J. “Jack” McGowan is vice president of Energy Control Inc., a direct digital control contractor and system integrator, based in Albuquerque, New Mexico. Mr. McGowan is directly involved in ECI’s core business of building automation and control services for university, commercial, and health care customers. He is also charged with expanding ECI’s performance contracting business initiative, which offers a comprehensive financial solution to reduce operating costs for building owners. These packages target energy retrofits for building mechanical, electrical, and temperature control systems, as well as related efficiency projects.
