Abstract

The algorithm based on the Electromagnetism-Like mechanism results from the Coulomb’s law of electromagnetics. In this paper, a novel stochastic approach based on the Electromagnetism-Like mechanism is applied to the optimization of electromagnetic devices. In order to show the effectiveness of the proposed method, it has been demonstrated on a magnetizer by optimizing its pole face to obtain the desired sinusoidal magnetic flux density distribution.
