Abstract

In the framework of the electro-mechanical coupled problems, the coupling between the magnetic diffusion and the elastic deformation equations is treated numerically. A mixed BEM-FEM approach for the electromagnetic part, and a FEM approach for the mechanical part, are proposed. Advantages are taken from a Lagrangian formulation of the problem.
