Abstract

Problem No. 10 of the TEAM Workshops is solved by three different finite-element formulations using a magnetic vector potential with the Coulomb gauge and an electric scalar potential. Allowing the normal component of the vector potential to jump at iron/air interfaces yields results in good agreement with measurement data.
