Keywords:

An algorithm for accounting for inner damping in an actively developed computer model of dynamics of a flexible rotor on active magnetic bearings is presented. The algorithm is illustrated by applying it for analyzing the effects of amplitude-independent inner damping on rotor dynamics when residual imbalance is present.
