Etude d'un modele macroscopique elastoplastique pour les materiaux multicouches

This paper includes a numerical study of a macroscopic elastop/astic model proposed for layered materials. After a description of both this model and its implementation in a finite element program, we present a study of its performance on modeling civil engineering structures. The latter is carried out by comparing results obtained by the macroscopic model to those obtained by finite element calculation with discretization at the microscopic scale.
