Abstract

Energetical observability and disturbability norms have been invented for designing active structures. They are particularly interesting for the modal selection and the dynamic performance determination of usual structures too. These norms are first theoretically introduced. Then the method is illustrated using a 20m long mast moumed on a satellite as an exemple.
