ENERGY CONSERVATION Energy Efficiency, the Environment, and A New Role for the End-User Part 1: A History-1973 to the Present Part 2: Consumer-Oriented "Sophisticated Convenience"
Abstract
America is again in the midst of an energy crisis. Just as with the
oil embargo of the 1970s, increases in the cost of petroleum have been
staggering. There are differences, however. In the past three decades, our
dependence on foreign imports of oil has almost doubled.
