ON THE USE OF PLANAR SCATTERING PROBLEM TECHNIQUES TO ANALYZE THIN PLANAR QUASI-MAGNETO-STATIC SHIELDING

Abstract

A metallic screen scattering technique developed for microwave and millimetre wave applications is adapted, using the principle of duality to a quasi-magnetostatic shielding problem. In the limiting case of low frequency (0.01 Hz) the results compare favourably with the static solution. Moreover, this adaptation is expanded to treat finite permeability shields.
