About the Journal

The Journal of Mobile Multimedia (JMM) is a peer-reviewed, Gold Open Access interdisciplinary journal dedicated to advancing research and innovation at the intersection of mobile technologies, intelligent multimedia systems, and emerging digital networks. As mobile computing continues to shape nearly every facet of modern life — from communication and commerce to entertainment, healthcare, education, and beyond —JMM serves as a dynamic forum for scholars, developers, engineers, and practitioners exploring this ever-evolving landscape.

In 2025,  the journal will continue to publish six issues per year, with each issue containing approximately 10 meticulously reviewed research articles, culminating in an annual output of 60 papers. In July of 2025, the journal’s Article Processing Charge (APC) will increase slightly to 1300 EUR, reinforcing River Publishers’ commitment to accessibility, scholarly inclusivity, and high editorial standards. In 2023, JMM was made available to IEEEXplore.

Articles are published under the Creative Commons Attribution-Non Commercial 4.0 International (CC BY-NC 4.0) license, facilitating free, immediate access and legal reuse, provided proper attribution is maintained.
